    Description

Theodore Roosevelt: A Unique and Dramatic 2¼" Pinback. The combination of distinctive design, bold color, size, and rarity qualified this as one of the very best single-picture TRs! Condition is basically choice but, for accuracy, we note several light surface scratches and one tiny bump above Roosevelt's left ear, which are visible only when the light hits at the right angle. A very special item which could form the centerpiece of even the most advanced TR collection.

We had a wonderful time in New York during the October 2013 Historical Manuscripts auction that featured my mother’s papers collected during her tenure as Martin Luther King, Jr.’s secretary. In fact, the entire experience from beginning to end has been a pleasure.
