    Description

Theodore Roosevelt: Hat in the Ring Silk Handkerchief. 26" x 16" silk handkerchief issued for TR's Bull Moose candidacy in 1912. It has not "spared the horses" in its use of campaign imagery. It has four Bull Moose heads in the corners, four teddy bears grasping big sticks, four stand-alone big sticks, four sets of pince-nez eyeglasses and grinning teeth and TR's hat in the 1912 ring. Not to mention TR's initials and the title "National Progressive". There is minor fraying in the corners and two other locations, but it remains a very nice example.
