    Description

Roosevelt & Fairbanks: Wonderful Occupational Jugate Bandanna. The vignettes around the border of this 17" square cotton bandanna are more interesting than the central image of the 1904 Republicans ("The Right Men in the Right Place.") These are printed in slate blue, tan, red, yellow and lavender. There is an eagle at the top and Lady Liberty at the bottom. There are an assortment of tools scattered about, intertwined with a meandering rope. The occupations depicted include: blacksmith, farmer, bricklayer, miner and lady loom operators. The portraits are a little bit light and there is a tear in the lower right corner. This is the only one of its type we have ever seen.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
