    Winfield Scott Hancock: Large Format "Canvass Book". 6" x 11 3/4" soft cover book titled "Hancock & English Reform and Economy in the Administration. 1880 Canvass Book". The interior pages are formatted as an alphabetical address book, meant to record the names of the voters, their party affiliation and voting preference. Instead, the owner has utilized it as an account book or ledger. Cover detached from spine, light soiling, pencil notations, etc. The owner, P. O. Elser, apparently operated a general store in Clay Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Selections from the Collection of Tom Charles Huston.
