John F. Kennedy: "Texas Welcome Dinner" Press Tickets. This group lot contains sixty-eight [68] unused tickets to the Press Section for the "Texas Welcome Dinner" on November 22, 1963. Each ticket is 2 1/2" x 6". These came from the estate of Dave Smith, news director at radio station KVET in Austin. He was in charge of public relations for the event.Auction Info
