    Description

Abraham Lincoln: Great Pictorial Ballot. This 5" x 12 ½" ballot from Boston's 7th Ward has a rather homey portrait of Abraham Lincoln flanked by draped flags, lanterns and torches. It is printed in black with a faint red overprint that reads "Republican Ticket". Given the large size and graphics, it is without-a-doubt the finest Lincoln pictorial ballot from 1860. Writer John Greenleaf Whittier is listed among those seeking election. For reasons unknown, all Massachusetts ballots from this period are supersized. The ballot is in mint condition.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
