    Description

William McKinley or William Jennings Bryan: Fabulous Multicolor Mechanical 1896 Election Card. 5 1/2" square two-piece stiff paper board titled "Political Object Lessons". It advises the user to "Turn To Your Candidate and Note Result of His Election". When McKinley appears, there are three scenes of prosperity. When Bryan appears, we see scenes of economic desolation. Flags, shields and appropriate slogans populate the spokes of the wheel. Beautiful condition. Sharp corners. A really neat item! We sold the Merrill Berman example in February 2015 for $3500.
