    John F. Kennedy: Oswald-Ruby Assassination Archive. This archive contains material acquired at the time of the Kennedy assassination by a Dallas police detective who worked on the case which subsequently passed to his widow. The material includes: mug shots of Lee Harvey Oswald and Jack Ruby, a Dallas Police Department identification card issued to Detective Charles Dhority, a reprint photo of Ruby's assassination of Oswald signed and presented to Mr. & Mrs. Dhority by Jim Leavelle (standing next to Oswald), a reprint photo of Detective Dhority carrying Oswald's clothing ahead of the gurney containing Oswald's body, a subpoena for Detective Dhority to appear as a witness in the murder trial of Jack Ruby on February 17, 1964, three promotional cards for the Carousel Club stripper named Jada, thirty-eight Sheriff's Department forms (official copies) titled "Voluntary Statement" and "Affidavit in Any Fact" containing witness statements from November 22nd, twelve tissue-paper sheets with taped-on photos of various pieces of evidence collected against Oswald (including a letter Governor Connelly written to Oswald in February 1962 in response to a request), thirty-three 5" x 7" period copy photos with images of evidence gathered in the case, plus a three-page period copy titled "Report On Officer's Duties In Regards To The President's Murder. C. N. Dhority #476." An historic grouping.
