Garfield et al: Campaign Equipment Advertisements and Catalogs. 1) 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" card listing 1880 torches made by the Adams & Westlake Manufacturing Company of Chicago. 2) 3 1/4" x 5 1/2" foldout promoting "The Natural Gas Flambeau" marketed by Dudley A. Tyng of Peoria (the tube forming the handle was filled with mineral wool saturated with kerosene). 3) 4 1/4" x 7" booklet offering campaign goods made by the Columbia Campaign Uniform Company of Chicago. This thick booklet is chock-filled with multicolored illustrations of McKinley and Bryan items for the campaign of 1896. A superb reference!
