Davis & Bryan: Jugate "Tea Pot Dome" Jugate Window Sign.
Marvelous 1924 die-cut cardboard window sign for Davis & Bryan, exploiting the Teapot Dome Scandal. This has always been one of the most desired 20th-century political display pieces sought-after by sophisticated collectors. Davis-Bryan jugate items of any kind are rare, and the delightful shape and Teapot Dome tie-in give it great display appeal. Has a few creases, as expected, and minor loss. Notoriously hard to find in nice condition, with this being a distinctly superior example. One of only several examples we have handled. Measures 13.5" x 10".
