    [Harry S Truman]: Rare Variant of "Dewey Defeats Truman" Error Newspaper. Wednesday, November 3, 1948 edition of the "Chicago Daily Tribune". The headline reads: "G.O.P. Wins White House" while the story in the last column says: "Rural Vote Swings Tide for Dewey. Sizable Electoral Margin Seen". This paper is infamous for "jumping the gun" and printing an edition that proclaimed "Dewey Defeats Truman". This is a much rarer edition printed on the same day. It is complete with two sections and is in excellent condition.
