William McKinley: Ultimate "Front Porch" Campaign Photograph. Is it that Ohioans just like to stay home or had they developed the one plan that would succeed at winning the presidency? Just like two fellow statesmen, James A. Garfield and Rutherford B. Hayes, McKinley ran his 1896 campaign against William J. Bryan from his front porch in Canton, Ohio. As photographed here, are the McKinley's sitting outside their home with a group gathered to hear the nominee for the Republican Party "stump" for the vote. With each wearing a ribbon and McKinley, himself, wearing a picture badge, they have posed here below the lanterns that adorn and light the McKinley porch. This image was taken by Courtney Photo of Canton, Ohio. Excellent condition. Photo size: 9.25" x 7.5"

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
