    Description

Theodore Roosevelt and Benjamin Harrison: Banquet Menus. 1) 8" x 10" program issued for the "Roosevelt-Fairbanks Higgins and Bruce Jubilee Dinner Wednesday November 30th 1904 The Waldorf Astoria". Chauncey Depew and Charles Fairbanks were speakers at the event. Nice cover with jugate portraits. Excellent. 2) 5" x 8" souvenir menu titled "Welcome to our President", issued for a banquet at the Hotel Green in Pasadena, California on April 23, 1891, attended by Benjamin Harrison. Three large satin ribbons (red, teal and white) are bound with a gold, metallic thread cord to a board backing. One is the cover ribbon with Harrison's portrait, while the others list the menu and organizing committees. A photo of the hotel is affixed to the back of the board along with a rubber stamp of the Pasadena Historical Society which likely deaccessioned this piece.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
