Theodore Roosevelt and Alton Parker: Colorful Embroidered Patches. This unusual group contains an assortment of political patches manufactured by J. J. Naef of Chicago, along with some sketch designs. The patches include a 1 1/2" x 3 1/4" teddy bear and three examples each measuring around 1 1/4" (TR initials, "Roosevelt Johnson" bull moose, and "TR My Hat is in the Ring" (with safety pin attachment sewn on the verso). The colored sketches include three for Roosevelt, one for Parker and a naval example on company letterhead. We believe this firm also produced the embroidered hankies and neckties for Taft and Bryan that surface occasionally. Please check out the catalog for more lots from the same source. By the way, we are selling all the political items from this group in the current sale. None will appear in future sales.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
