    Description

Roosevelt & Johnson: A Rare and Colorful 1912 Jugate Celluloid. This 1¼" beauty is one of the scarcest and most colorful of all Roosevelt & Johnson varieties. It also offers a unique appeal in that matching Taft & Sherman and Wilson & Marshall versions are known, making it possible to put together a matched set for the three 1912 tickets. This example is made like a pinback button with a rounded curl, but instead of a pin, it has a hollow metal back with two openings for attachment to a leather fob. A very clean example - one of not more than a half-dozen known. For strictest accuracy, we note several very minor surface scratches which do not detract.
