    Description

William Henry Harrison: One-Day Event Convention Ribbon. Most unusual 3" x 8" silk ribbon worn by an attendee at the "Washington County Whig Convention, July 4, 1840." Great graphics, including eagle, flag, portrait of the candidate, log cabin and cider barrel. It concludes at the bottom: "Hard Cider - Not so hard as Van Burenism." We'll drink to that! A few very minor holes of little consequence. Very fine overall.
