William Henry Harrison: Large Graphic Ribbon. All the design elements seen on copper luster china appear on this 3" x 7 1/2" silk ribbon. These include the log cabin ("To Let in 1841"), a "Harrison & Reform" portrait, the fasces, an eagle with riband reading "Union for the Sake of the Union" and the slogan "Our Country's Hope" superimposed on a sunrise. The inclusion of a green ribbon bow at the top is icing on the cake. It is dated May 4, 1840 which coincides with the date of the Whig National Convention in Baltimore that nominated Harrison.
