    Description

Rare 1892 3rd Party Convention Ribbon
The People's Party were Populist break-offs from the Democratic Party. In 1892 they nominated Gen. James Weaver for president, but in 1896 would coalesce behind William Jennings Bryan, who was more to their liking than the 1892 nominee-the rather conservative Grover Cleveland. This colorful ribbon is especially nice as it appeals to collectors of 3rd Party and national convention items. Great condition. 2" x 6". From the Joe Brown Collection.
