    Description

John Bidwell: Rare Prohibition Party Ribbon. 2 1/4" x 6 3/4" silk ribbon with gold-stamped lettering and design, titled "1892 Prohibition". It depicts George Washington ("For God and Home and Country"), an American flag & shield and reads: "For President John Bidwell For Vice President J. B. Cranfil." One small stain along right edge and 3/4" fabric pull near the top. Lettering and design elements are bold and distinct. We don't recall seeing this ribbon ever before (in person, at least!). It must be considered a key item for the Third Party collector! If you truly want this, you will have to "bid well!"
