    Description

Grover Cleveland: 1892 DNC Ribbon Badge. Unusual 2 1/2" x 7 1/2" badge issued at the 1892 Democratic National Convention in Chicago. A brass die-cut stickpin bust of Cleveland is attached at top. Beneath that is a brass die-cut badge of a buffalo, a reference to Cleveland's home town. It was likely worn by a delegate from that city. Manufactured by W. H. Haskell of St. Louis. From the Scott W. Dolson Collection.
