    Description

George McClellan: Deep Rose Silk Ribbon. 2" x 4 1/8" silk ribbon from the election of 1864 with oval woodcut portrait of McClellan. Trimmed at bottom, possibly missing some wording, although it may have been uninscribed. Examples with wording, such as "McClellan and Pendleton" typically had part of the inscription at the top. We could no find any other examples of this particular design for comparison purposes. Still, an attractive representative piece for Lincoln's nemesis.
