    Description

    Charles E. Hughes Committee Ribbon with Celluloid. This strong ribbon from Rhode Island has a 7/8" celluloid center with a red, white, and blue ribbon, decorated with gilt fringe and adornments. The celluloid is in choice condition with no visible flaws; the ribbon is also in pristine condition with no fraying or wear. Hughes served in many federal offices, and was a big proponent of the Woman's Suffrage movement. Measures 6" x 3".
