    Description

Charles E. Hughes: A Unique Collection of Ten Campaign Ribbons from Various States. Hughes campaign items, except for a few nationally-distributed button varieties, tend to be scarce to rare, and collectors have always prized items that hail from their respective states. These are the only examples we have ever seen of many of these! All come from the collection of Chris Olmstead, whose Hughes collection was one of the most comprehensive single-candidate collections ever formed in the hobby. While Olmstead still retains the core of his Hughes button collection, he decided a few years ago to part with some peripheral categories such as ribbons. It took many years to assemble these, and we doubt they could ever be duplicated again. Several have some imperfections as shown, but most are excellent, and all are in display-worthy condition. Lengths range from 5.75" to 9".

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
