    Description

Benjamin Harrison and Grover Cleveland: Matching Satin Ribbon Badges. Impressive pair of satin ribbons for the 1892 major party candidates. Each measures 2 1/2" x 10" overall with engraved portraits of Harrison and Cleveland. There is a two-ply arrangement where a shorter portrait ribbon lays over a full length ribbon with silver lettering. One is silver-stamped "Young Men's Republican Club" and the other reads "Jeffersonian Club, Newark, N.J." The silk-under-celluloid hangers read "H and R" and "C and S". Made by Whitehead & Hoag, they are almost certainly manufacturer's samples. Each ribbon has dual-fringe. If you don't collect Cleveland or Harrison, it's time to start!

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
