Andrew Jackson: A Highly Important Large Silk Campaign Ribbon in Magnificent Condition. According to Sullivan & Fischer, who list this variety as AJ-6, this "may well be the earliest surviving example of a presidential coat-tail ribbon. An 1832 Pennsylvania ribbon, it ties a Democratic congressional candidate to the national ticket's 'coat-tails'." As Sullivan & Fischer point out, the appearance of Sutherland's name on a ribbon bearing a "No Bank" slogan is a bit of an anomaly, since his support of the Bank of the United States (headquartered in his district) placed him squarely at odds with Jackson and the national party, who ousted him in 1836.

This variety is also prized by collectors for the "Equal Rights To All Voters" slogan at the bottom. It doesn't appear to be the Sullivan & Fischer plate example, but we cannot recall seeing any other example. Impressive 2.25" x 9.25" size for display.
