    Description

    Abraham Lincoln: 1864 Portrait Ribbon.
2" x 6" aqua blue campaign ribbon from the hotly contested 1864 Presidential race. The ribbon depicts a beardless image of the Republican Standard bearer with names below, and a eagle / flag design above. The image of Lincoln is based on the Hesler photograph taken in Springfield, Ill. June of 1860, and is bold and dark. There is just a hint of age, which is inconsequential considering the desirability of the ribbon. The frame, measures 5.75" x 9.75", with ribbon being recessed. A wonderful presentation.
