    Description

Richard Nixon: Personally Owned Hat. Grey hat made by Shuddle Brothers of Houston, owned and worn by Richard Nixon. The hat (size unknown) shows light, normal use. It was obtained by the consignor who was a staff member at the White House for a number of years. When Nixon left office, he told staff members that they could keep various items he was leaving behind and no longer needed. The hat was one of them and was obtained at that time by the consignor. We include a letter of provenance as well as an issue of Time magazine that shows Nixon wearing this very same hat in 1955.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
