    Relics: Six Relics Related to American Historic Sites, from the Collection of J. S. Reigart, including: a piece of bark, 3.5" x 2", identified with a label as coming from "The Historic Charter Oak" in Hartford, Connecticut; a turned wood thimble case made from wood from Faneuil Hall, the "Cradle of Liberty" and a turned wood thimble made from a piece of the "Washington Elm", under which George Washington supposedly took command of the Continental Army; several pieces of bark, approximately 1.5" long, in a 19th Century glass bottle with a note reading, "Bark of the Old Stuyvesant Pear, 3rd Avenue, New York", planted by Petrus Stuyvesant in 1667, in 1861 considered the oldest living thing in New York City; a small turned wood dome, 1.5" high, in a bottle with a note reading, "Tree under which Declaration of Independence was read to the people of Charleston S.C."; and, a piece of shaped wood with an affixed note, "Made from the wood of the original pulpit of the Old Eutaw Church of Baltimore", a historic Methodist Church established in 1808.
