    Relics: Four Relics Related to New York Historic Sites, from the Collection of J. S. Reigart, including: a fine turned wood plinth with a label, "Old City Hospital, New York City - Erected A.D. 1771 / partially burnt 1775 / Begins 1791 / Torn Down 1869. J.S.R."; a 19th Century glass bottle, with a piece of granite and a label identifying the piece as from the base of the "Cleopatra's Needle" obelisk, 23rd Street, North, New York City, July 21, 1880; a turned wood box, 3.25" high, with a label reading, "Piece of the Old Walton House Pearl St. New York City, A.D. 1768", the building, demolished in 1871, served as the home of William Walton, one of His Majesty's Council for the Province of New York and host to Generals Washington, Cornwallis, Howe, and Major Andre at various times; and, a large turned wood box, 4.75" high, from Brooklyn's oldest house, the Schermerhorn mansion, built in 1636, several identifying newspaper clipping are included.
