Reigart, including: a small wooden turned box with a domed lid, 1.75" high, with an affixed paper tag on the bottom that reads, "From the room where Jefferson wrote the Declaration of Independence / 7th & Market Streets, Phil"; a turned pen shaft, 6" long, with an attached tag reading, "Hickory cut from a tree growing over the tomb of Thomas Jefferson at Monticello"; a similar turned pen shaft, 6.75", with a tag, "Made from a hickory tree at General Jackson's old home"; small turned wood cup, 2.75" high, with a paper label attached to the bottom, "Old Hickory / Jackson"; a 19th Century glass bottle with several pieces of stone and small pieces of concrete with a newspaper story and illustration showing the temporary tomb constructed for the body of President Grant on Riverside Drive in New York.
