    Description

    One Gold Charm and Two Sterling Silver Pins Belonging to Lady Bird Johnson, including: a charm in the shape of the Republic of Mexico in 14K gold with green, white, and red stones; a pin with a Scottish thistle in sterling silver and hallmarked Edinburgh, 1984; and, a green enamel bird in flight on gilt sterling silver with Norwegian silver hallmarks (minor chipping to the enamel). The bird pin was purchased by the Johnsons on their visit to Norway in September 1963 during the vice presidency.

    A full 100% of the net proceeds will benefit the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center at the University of Texas at Austin, in honor of the 2012 Centennial of Lady Bird Johnson's birth.
