This shadow box display has four components: a copy-image wedding photo of Kathleen Kennedy with Joseph Kennedy, Jr. in the background, a copy-image photo of the Kennedy Family showing Kathleen wearing a wrist watch, the actual wrist watch she is wearing the photo, and a metal plaque that describes the watch. It is inscribed: "Abercrombie & Fitch 'Shipmate' watch belonging to Kathleen Agnes Kennedy, second daughter of Joe and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy, President John F. Kennedy's beloved sister. Her marriage to Lord Hartington made her Kathleen, Marchioness of Hartington." Kathleen was nicknamed "Kick" by her family. A letter of provenance from the family accompanies the lot.Auction Info
