    John F. Kennedy: Personally-Used Presidential Golf Balls. Trio of golf balls stamped, respectively, "Mr. President", "John F. Kennedy/Washington, D.C." and "J.F.K. 3" The first, a "Ben Hogan 3", was "hit only once during a round of golf at the Riviera C.C. The round took place in June of '61 during one of JFK's visits to Los Angeles. This ball was "acquired from Peter Lawford..." per the accompanying statement of provenance from the consignor. The second ball is accompanied by a Letter of Provenance indicating the ball was used by JFK while vacationing at Hammersmith Farm (Jackie's childhood home). He routinely hit balls into Narragansett Bay. A maid "... found this ball at low tide on the shore..." The third ball (with wooden tee stamped "President John F. Kennedy" is accompanied by an 8" x 10" color photo of JFK and others on the 18th green, inscribed below: "This JFK golf ball was taken from his golf bag by Cecil Stoughton July 19, 1963". As a bonus, we include a July 1962 receipt issued to Mrs. John F. Kennedy for three Izod golf shirts from the pro shop of Tom Niblet in Hyannis Port.
