Grover Cleveland: Gorgeous Customized Pocket Knife Believed to Have Been Presented To and Owned By the President. 3.5" four-blade pocket knife in custom-fitted velvet and leather case. Made by the Swedish cutlery company Eskilstuna. According to the consignor, it was part of the contents of a cottage on Cleveland Hill Road in Tamworth, NH that had belonged to Cleveland's second daughter, Esther Cleveland Bosanquet and was being sold by her daughter and heir, Philippa Ford. One side has an eagle with shield, riband inscribed "E Pluribus Unum", flanked by floral designs. The colors are red, blue, green and gray, all against a gold background. The other side has the "signature" of "Grover Cleveland" with floral motifs at either end. The exposed silver surface and blue designs are highly reflective, like Damascene work. The knife has apparently never been used and looks like the day it was made! The leather case has some light wear. Grover Cleveland's personal calling card is included. A real eye-catcher and head-turner!

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
