    Description

    Gerald Ford: Author-Inscribed Marilyn Monroe Book. Feminist Gloria Steinem wrote this coffee table book in 1986. Titled "Marilyn", the author presented it to Betty Ford on January 28, 1987. The presentation on the endpaper reads: "To Betty Ford - whose courage, compassion and example help millions - and would have helped Marilyn. with gratitude and sisterhood - Gloria Steinem." From President and Mrs. Ford's personal library. Proceeds of this auction will be used for the new Student Learning Center being developed by the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Foundation. This lot will be accompanied by a letter of authenticity signed by Steve Ford.
