Dwight D. Eisenhower: Personally Owned Golf Ball. Titleist 6/Acushnet DT golf ball stamped "D. D. Eisenhower". There is no written provenance that accompanies this lot; however, it matches in all respects a similar ball sold by Ira Goldberg Galleries: lot 58 in their Sale #24 where it realized $1,035. That ball, according to the catalog, was given by the President to Secret Service Agent Floyd M. Boring at the Burning Tree Golf and Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. While the President enjoyed the game, he would often get "teed off" when interrupted by a phone call... a frequent occurrence.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
