    Abraham Lincoln Memorial Broadside with Albumen. One page, 7.5" x 12.75" (sight), Philadelphia, PA; 1865. Published by A. Bancroft, the broadside is a memorial poem in remembrance of Lincoln, and includes important dates from Lincoln's life, a March 4th quote by the president, and an albumen of Lincoln at the center of the broadside. The poem reads, in part:
    "To the Memory of Abraham Lincoln, President of the United States of America,
    Who died a Martyr to his Country,
    Falling under the hands of a Traitor Assassin,
    On the night of the 14th day of April, 1865,
    The Fourth Anniversary of the Beginning of the GREAT REBELLION,
    Through which he had led the Nation to a Glorious Triumph,
    Just completed, when the Dastardly Revenge of
    Vanquished Treason was wrought in his Monstrous Murder."

    The broadside is matted and framed to the overall size of 14" x 18".

    Condition: Broadside is lightly toned throughout, with a small spot of dampstaining and of soiling. Two small tears are present at the top edge. Overall very fine.
