Abraham Lincoln: Bunting Fragment from the 1861 Inaugural Train. 2.75" x 1.25". The red, white, and blue painted canvas fragment is mounted on cardstock and accompanied by an unsigned typed note that reads, "This piece of bunting that decorated the Inaugural Train in which President-Elect Abraham Lincoln rode from Springfield to Washington in 1861. It was obtained by a Union Army physician, Dr. Edward Darling, when the train stopped in Cincinnati." Very fine.
