Description
[Abraham Lincoln]: Presidential Seal Imprint Framed Presentation. Interesting and graphic 21" x 13" framed display, circa 1956, of wax impressions taken from the Presidential Seals used by Presidents Lincoln, Franklin Roosevelt and Harry S. Truman. The display includes a photograph of Lincoln's seal (the one used to make the impression in the frame) along with a 2-page typed letter from the curator of the Abraham Lincoln Museum in Springfield, James T. Hickey. He mentions that the Lincoln seal is owned by Justin Turner, who purchased it from the Oliver Barrett Sale, placing it on loan to the museum.Auction Info
