    Description

Taylor & Fillmore: 1848 Currier Grand National Banner Jugate Campaign Print. The only year when Currier departed from their vertical format. Taylor & Fillmore and Cass & Butler banners were offered that year both in the conventional style and in this horizontal design, which has traditionally been considered somewhat the more valuable of the two. Typical light aging and a minor fine tear, which turns into a crease extending from the top edge to the top of Fillmore's hair. A very decent copy overall, 14" x 9.875".
