    Description

James G. Birney: 1844 Liberty Party Campaign Print. Small folio [10" x 14"] hand-colored lithographed published by J. Baillie of New York and J. Soule of New Bedford, Massachusetts. Titled "James G. Birney.", it shows the Liberty Party candidate in the Presidential Chair. Two African-Americans toil in the fields, overseen by a bust of Wilberforce. Strong colors, ample borders, several short edge tears repaired on verso. An exceptional example. Selections from the Collection of Tom Charles Huston.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
