Henry Clay: Pen and Ink. Clay's portrait is featured at the center, framed by three decorative circles. His name appears below his portrait beneath the smallest circle. Two birds, one near the top right and one near the top left, are perched on the largest circle. Ornate cornucopias are labeled with his birth and death dates, his birth date appearing at the left and his death date on the right. Housed in a warm brown frame, this piece measures 20" x 25.125". Text at bottom center has faded, making it illegible. Overall great condition with light toning and a pin hole at all four corners. Light warping of paper throughout with dampstain at bottom right corner. This pen and ink has great design and symmetry, a wonderful piece of art for display.
