    Description

Frémont & Cochrane: An Exceptional 1864 Grand National Banner. Frémont sought to play the spoiler in that election, running as a Radical Republican, but opted to withdraw from the race in September. This print is an exceptional example with full 2.5" borders. Some aging and soiling at top of the border, but center portion has great color. One trivial small stain mark on Cochrane's shirt. 13" x 17.5".
