DescriptionBenjamin Harrison: Ontario County Times Extra. The top of this attractive extra bears an image of Harrison captioned "The Champion of Protection" and "Benjamin Harrison. Next President of the United States." A listing of ballots from the "Informal Ballot" to the "Eighth Ballot" appear below Harrison. Bold print takes a jab at the opposing party at the bottom reading, "LOOK OUT for Widow McGinnis [the Democratic party] and her famous civil service reform pig. SOUND THE FIRST GUN/ FOR HARRI-SON!" Displayed with ivory and tan mats and a nice wood frame. The sight size of this piece measures 5" x 17.5" with the overall size measuring 11.375" x 23.875". There are multiple pinprick holes throughout and either adhesive residue or old tape at right and left edges near the center of the extra. Toning present, particularly at top edge, and three horizontal folds. The frame has minor scratching with remnants of gold trim. In great shape for it's age, this Harrison extra looks extra sharp framed.
