    Abraham Lincoln: Rare Kellogg Print.
The piece rarely, if ever, appears on the market. A Kellogg, Hartford, CT print, measuring 9.5" x 13.5" (sight) and in the original "Ogee" 13" x 17" frame. The image is based on a rare ambrotype taken by William Marsh in Springfield, Illinois on May 24, 1860. In the margin is a quote by Lincoln from his Cooper Union Speech "The people of these United States are the rightful masters of both congresses and courts, not to over-throw the Constitution, but to over-throw the men who pervert that Constitution". The print has facsimile signatures of Lincoln / E.S. Cleveland, Hartford, Conn. / Philip Wadsworth, Chicago, Ill., with this being a good likeness of the original. The piece dates to the 1860, and retains bold colors. We could only source two other examples, one being at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan, and another at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC.
