William McKinley: One of the Very Best Political Posters from the Golden Age of American Color Lithography. Huge 28" x 42" [sight], nicely custom-framed to an overall size of 32" x 46". Copyrighted 1900 by Morgan & Co., Cleveland. One horizontal crease from being folded at the very top, but overall in excellent display condition. This is only the fourth example of this gorgeous poster we recall encountering. One of the others recently adorned the cover of a private catalog put out on behalf of a major political collector who was "thinning the herd." It was in somewhat lesser condition, but we're told it was one of the first pieces sold at $5500, with several disappointed would-be buyers. Selections from the Collection of Tom Charles Huston.
