    McKinley & Roosevelt: A Spectacular 33" x 48" Jugate Campaign Poster.
One of several related designs in this size, and for our money by far the most desirable of the series. Great standing jugate with images of Democratic depression in 1896 and Republican prosperity in 1900. In his hand McKinley holds another campaign poster, which is in fact another one of the series. Lithographed by Edwards, Deutsch & Heitmann of Chicago. 4" vertical tear at top left, 1" x 24" missing border panel along bottom left, 4" x 2" area of loss in McKinley's coat, some loss to central vertical fold, tape repairs on verso (mainly along central fold), some minor loss and chipping along bottom edge. Rather delicate. Could easily be matted and framed to best effect and the missing portion in the middle effectively camouflaged as to blend in.
