    Description

Anti-William Jennings Bryan: A Great Satirical "Poster." While taken from a publication, it is nonetheless a delightful display item. 10.125" x 14.125" in size. Issued in 1900 and titled "The Silver Idol For 'Idle' Men", it predicts the proliferation of soup kitchens if Bryan is elected on his 16-to-1 platform. Backed for stability, with several minor spots which detract minimally. We cannot recall seeing another example. (A phrase which is often employed when presenting items from this remarkable collection.)
