    [Ferdinand Maximilian]. Ejecucion de Justicia. Zaragoza: Press of Mariano L. Lopez and Co., June 20, 1867. Broadside 33.5 x 22.3 cm. Minor taping on verso at bottom edge and small edge splits. Overall a very good or better copy.

    On the 14th of June Ferdinand Maximilian was condemned by a court martial. This broadside announces the proceedings issued by a telegram from General Escobedo. Translated: "After this sentence was confirmed by this general staff on the 15th, the 16th was set for its execution, which was suspended until today by disposition of the Supreme Government. It is now seven in the morning, at which hour the afore-cited Maximilian, Miramón, and Mejía have just faced the firing squad. - Please communicate this to the c[itizen] president of the republic. - Escobedo. - Díaz."
