Description

Woodrow Wilson: Sought-after "League of Nations" 1¼" Celluloid Button. This colorful design was issued with two different Wilson photos, of which this is the rarer. Manufactured by a rather obscure west coast maker, Walter N. Brent of San Francisco. The vertical line to Wilson's left is a printing flaw on the button paper, as are some dots on the photo. Several very trivial small, light fox marks on the rim at 4:00-5:00 must be noted, but do not detract. The first example with this photo that we have ever handled.
